Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Argentina Q2 2021

In Q2 2021, the top navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform in Argentina showed varied performance metrics. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s how the top five apps fared:

Google Maps maintained its position as a leader with steady weekly downloads, starting at around 7.1K in late March and slightly decreasing to a low of 4.2K in late May, before rebounding to 6.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, beginning the quarter at 988K, dipping to 764K in late May, and recovering to 902K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 2.3K in late March to 1.4K by late June. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 103K in early April and ending the quarter at 108K.

Google Earth experienced a modest increase in weekly downloads, from 947 in late March to 1.1K by the end of June. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 9.3K and closing the quarter at 9.5K.

Map for Instagram, although not as popular, had an interesting performance with weekly downloads peaking at 1.5K in early May, before dropping to around 71 by the end of June. The app also generated a small but steady revenue, peaking at $43 in mid-May.

Google Street View had consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between 188 and 282 throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, hovering around 300 for most of the quarter.
